Lion's Mane Croquettes

Croquettes golden on the outside and creamy on the inside, with the unique flavor of lion's mane.

Ingredientes

  • 300g fresh lion's mane, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 500ml of whole milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • Oil for frying

Preparación

  1. 1 Sauté the onion and lion's mane in butter for 8 minutes.
  2. 2 Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes to remove the raw flavor.
  3. 3 Pour in the milk little by little, stirring until you get a thick béchamel.
  4. 4 Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  5. 5 Let the mixture cool in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  6. 6 Form the croquettes, dip them in egg and breadcrumbs.
  7. 7 Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
