Lion's Mane Steak with Chimichurri
A plant-based alternative to traditional steak, juicy and full of flavor thanks to fresh chimichurri.
Ingredientes
- 2 large pieces (each piece approx 150g) of fresh lion's mane
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Coarse salt and black pepper
- For the chimichurri:
- 1 bunch of fresh parsley
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 50ml of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 pinch of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper

Preparación
- 1 Prepare the chimichurri by finely chopping the parsley and garlic.
- 2 Mix them with the oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- 3 Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat.
- 4 Brush the lion's mane pieces with oil and season with salt and pepper.
- 5 Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and caramelized.
- 6 Serve immediately with the chimichurri on top.

- Do not move the mushrooms while they are sealing so that they form a crust.
- Chimichurri improves if it rests for at least 30 minutes before serving.
