
Lion's Mane Mushroom Tacos "Pulled" Style
Did you know that lion's mane, when shredded and sautéed well, perfectly mimics the texture of shredded pork? This taco is a gem for any Tex-Mex fan looking for healthier or plant-based alternatives. They're flavorful, juicy, and ready in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of lion's mane mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Corn tortillas
- Extra: pickled red onion, cilantro, avocado, hot sauce
Instructions:
1. Crumble the mushrooms with your hands. Fry them with garlic and oil in a hot pan.
2. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden brown and crispy.
